電 車叮叮由銅鑼灣轉進跑馬地之前,途經利舞台的一段,下車覓食就自然而然的走到何洪記﹣﹣三心兩意的我最難下決定,坐下來在一眾同樣出色的美食中該點雲吞 麵?水餃麵?乾炒牛河還是乾燒伊麵?還是來一碗腰膶粥配炸雲吞?都想吃,都該呼朋喚友一次吃個痛快! 鮮蝦和豬肉以七比三的比例,人手刴碎打至起膠,加入甫魚和胡椒粉調味,包進薄至透光的雲吞皮中成為可口鮮美。水餃是傳統古法餡料,當中的黑木耳絲格外爽 脆。乾炒牛河是一絕,河粉軟滑柔韌,牛肉鮮嫩少筋,炒起來乾身不油膩,不停口一碟掃光。豬腰豬膶爽脆香甜,與煲得極棉的粥底絕配。還有那炸得金黄酥脆仍然 肉汁豐富的雲吞,點上自家用米醋、酸梅和山渣調製的醬汁,無法忍口,超逾六十年歴史的老店能夠兩代相傳水準高超依舊,實在難得。

Get off the tram near Lee Theatre, right before it turns into Happy Valley from Causeway Bay, and your legs will probably march you directly to Ho Hung Kee. Here you will be spoilt for choice: Wonton Noodles, Dumpling Noodles, Sliced Beef Fried Rice Noodles, Plain Fried Noodles, Pork Kidney and Liver Congee with Deep Fried Wonton. You will need to invite your friends so you can order all the dishes you want! To make the base for the wontons, Ho Hung Kee takes seven parts shrimp to three parts pork and a little pepper, grinds the mixture to a paste and spreads it onto a thin wrap. Their dumplings are filled with traditional ingredients including crispy wood ear fungus. Their Sliced Beef Fried Rice Noodles are wonderful, their Rice Noodles are soft and the veal is tasty, fresh and not too oily. Your plate will be spotless! The Pork Kidney and Liver are crunchy, a perfect match for the smooth Congee, which is boiled for a long time. Also, try the Crispy Deep Fried Wonton dipped in the vinegary house sauce - they are addictive! Ho Hung Kee has managed the difficult task of maintaining high quality food throughout their 60-year history.
