當 然你會被餐廳東主第二代矢志重振家族生意旗鼓的三位公子的俊朗外表深深吸引，但他們也會很禮貌很仔細地把他們從小吃大的傳統印尼口味一一給你介紹。從那一 直高據熱賣榜首的豬肉沙嗲開始，烤得焦香肥美的肉串蘸上以花生和香料和用心炒製濃香沙嗲醬，一口氣吃它一打半打大有人在。然後必點的是印尼加多加多沙律， 花生醬的香濃與新鮮水烚蔬菜配搭正好。還有的是燜煮得又焾又入味的巴東牛肉，用上石粟，椰汁和印尼蝦醬煮上半天的酸辣牛肉和香辣峇里雞，都是印尼傳統口味 的忠實演繹。至於店名的1968，就是三兄弟對父母當年創業年份的一個懷愐尊重，長情食客也在見証一種飲食傳統的保留和傳承。

When in IR1968, you will be charmed by the outlook of the three second-generation owners who will politely offer detailed descriptions of the Indonesian flavours with which they grew up. An excellent example of one of these flavours is the top-selling Pork Satay, perfectly grilled until brown and basted with Satay Sauce made from peanuts and seasoning. Many people eat half a dozen in one sitting! They also serve Gado Gado Salad, comprising peanut butter and boiled vegetables - a perfect match. Also good are their Well Simmered Beef, Sour Spicy Beef and Spicy Chicken, all original, traditional, Indonesian and tasty. The restaurant is named 1968 in memory of the brothers’ parents, who started the business in 1968. Loyal, old customers can rest assured that taste and dining traditions are being upheld despite the younger generation taking over.
